17th century wardrobes

We have recently completed a commission for a beautiful 17th century house just outside of Halton, near Lancaster. The commission included a small fitted cabinet for an en-suite bathroom, a pair of free standing wardrobes and a large fitted wardrobe.

The design brief was to produce something that was in keeping with the grade 2* listed building and would look as though it had always been there. The design we agreed on uses a four panel design for the doors and a hand carved frieze above. For the pair of wardrobes we used turned bun feet where as the fitted cabinets have an original plinth.

We were both extremely pleased to see our work in such a beautiful Historic house! The finished articles are in our Portfolio to have a look at.

We are currently undertaking the next part of the commission which is a set of panelled doors and a large bookcase which will hopefuly be installed by Christmas!
